Byodoin- Flower shaped stud earring
Description: "Byodoin" earring are inspired by the floating Bodhisattvas at the Byodoin temple in Uji Japan. Mia traveled to Japan in spring of 2025 and Uji. The stylized clouds that the Bodhisattvas are "sitting" on captured Mia's attention and she wanted to craft a tribute to this special place. Handcrafted from brass and finished with a 14k nickel-free gold plating, these earrings encapsulate a blend of cultural heritage and modern aesthetics.
Styling Suggestions: These versatile earrings can enhance both casual and formal ensembles. For those looking for an interesting and dimensional button earring, this is the perfect piece. Having a floral-like shape make them feminine but the abstract nature of the earring keeps the shape more nuanced and unique.
Craftsmanship Details: Each earring is meticulously handcrafted, ensuring attention to detail and quality. The design features a central post that provides ample coverage for the earlobe, catering to those who appreciate both style and comfort. Earring measures about 1" in diameter and the flower is little less than a .5" high.
